Only those five families are standing on container which always remained on power: Firdous Ashiq

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is the leader and bright face of Pakistan, while those standing on stage of the opposition are trying to save their sinking ship of politics.

Talking to media persons in Islamabad, she said the world acknowledges Prime Minister Imran Khan's statesmanship and the President of World Bank also appreciated him for working hard to put the country's economy on the right track.

Replying to a question, Firdous Ashiq Awan said we are political people and will continue to hold dialogue with the Opposition to resolve the issues.

She said the negotiation committee of the government would decide strategy for talks with the Opposition.

Replying to another question, she said Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman disassociated himself with the promises made with the government.

The Special Assistant on Information said breaking commitments and promises is against Islamic teachings and it is tragic the nation is being misled on the basis of religion.

Meanwhile, in a tweet on Saturday, Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has regretted that the opposition parties are attacking the state of Pakistan to help their children reach the corridors of power.

She pointed out that only those five families are standing on the container which always remained in the power. These families, she said, include Mufti Mahmood Khan, Achakzai, Wali Khan, Bhutto and Sharifs.
