Pakistan defeat Bangladesh to lift ACC Emerging Teams trophy 2019
Pakistan U-23 beat Bangladesh U-23 by 77 runs in the final to win the 2019 Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Dhaka on Saturday.

Pakistan piled up a huge target scoring 301 runs for six wickets in 50 overs. Rohail Nazir scored a match-winning 113 runs off 111 balls which included three monstrous sixes and 12 fours along with Imran Rafiq who played a marvelous supporting inning of 62 runs off 88 balls, hitting two sixes and four fours.

In second inning, Bangladesh team collapsed to only 224 runs in just 43.4 overs, where Afif Hossain emerged as highest scorer for his team, scoring only 49 runs off 53 balls with four fours and one six.

Pakistani pacer Mohammad Hasnain sliced the middle order and took three wickets giving away only 32 runs in 8.3 overs, while Khushdil Shah and Saif Badar took two wickets apiece with Umer Khan, Amad Butt and Sameen Gul taking one wicket each.

Pakistan lifted the cup by beating Bangladesh with huge 77 runs margin. Prior to this, Pakistan beat India in the semi-final, making it a memorable tournament for them.
