In the ICC Cricket World Cup match against Pakistan at Nottingham, England won the toss and elected to field first.

England’s skipper, Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field first against Pakistan in the World Cup game played at Nottingham on Monday. Seeing the outcome of Pakistan’s contest against the West Indies, England have added their other pace machine, Mark Woods in the side in place of Liam Plunkett.

On the other hand, Sarfraz Ahmed, the Pakistani captain, also wanted to bowl first on the surface as it looked like a lively batting track. He also brushed off the claims that the Men in Green will be under pressure following their vulnerability against the short deliveries.

“It was a one-off thing,” said Sarfraz Ahmed at the toss. “We are not looking what has happened and we are not thinking about the games we have lost.”

Pakistan have also recalled their experienced campaigned Shoaib Malik in place of Haris Sohail and have also added Asif Ali for some power hitting in place of the all-rounder Imad Wasim. Malik and Mohammad Hafeez are likely to make up for the fifth bowler.
