According to sources, Ehsan Mani held a meeting with Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser at Parliament House where he showed confidence in the selected World Cup squad.
Speaker NA Asad Qaiser said that he was hopeful that Pakistan will do well in the tournament, adding that current government is taking many steps to ensure promotion of the sport.
During the meeting, several affairs pertaining to cricket and other matters came under discussion including recent Inter-Parliamentary Cricket Tournament which was held in London.
Asad Qaiser also lauded PCB for their cooperation in successfully holding training camps for teams of Inter-Parliamentary Cricket Tournament.
