Apple customers using old plug adapters have been told to return them to the company after a number of electric shock incidents.
The three-pronged AC wall plug adapters have been designed primarily for use in the UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Versions of these adapters, shipped from 2003 to 2010 with both Mac and iOS devices, have been breaking and creating a risk of electric shock.
These incidents have been "very rare" according to Apple, which stated only six of them had been recorded globally.
At first glance, the unaffected and affected adapters look very similar.
The affected three-prong wall plug adapters are white, with no letters in the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter.
New adapters are white with grey on the inside portion that attaches to the power adapter.
