The Supreme Court on Monday delisted important cases being heard by bench no 1 as Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has been advised rest following an angioplasty procedure.
A day earlier, the chief justice underwent an angioplasty procedure at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology.
Doctors at the hospital said Justice Nisar is “out of danger and has been advised rest”.
Following the doctors’ advice, the Supreme Court delisted important cases that were being heard by bench no 1.
Bench no 1 was scheduled to hear important cases, including the money laundering case, Zulfi Bukhari’s disqualification case and a case pertaining to the degrees of pilots and cabin crew, today.
