National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday further tightened noose against former Punjab CM and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif, his son Hamza Shehbaz and eight others in case pertaining to Saaf Pani Scandal.
Sources told that the technical team of Saaf Pani Company in their statement recorded before the anti-graft watchdog team said, “We did not interfere in awarding contract to the SB company on high rates.”
The technical team said that many officials interfered to award contracts for the provision of clean drinking water on high rates, adding that the contract awarded for the clean drinking water project was not fulfilled.
On the other hand, sources privy to the NAB said that investigation team has received replies from members of the technical team.
