PPP has passed the pertinent labour laws, Bilawal Bhutto

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP’s provincal Government is first one, which has passed the pertinent labour laws.

Speaking in a press conference at the Bilawal House in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his party has always given priority to labour laws.

Talking about child labor, Bilawal said that Sindh Government is working hard to make pertinent laws related to Child Labour.

He said that of all the provincial governments in the country only the Sindh government has announced its labour policy.

Criticizing PML N’s policy towards Labour, he said that PML N has never been labour friendly. He also criticized the federal budget and said that the recently announced budget has nothing for the laborers.“PML N Govt’s last budget is not labour friendly”.

“The PML-N government has nothing to offer to the labourers, if we come into power our main focus will be the labourers,” he said. “We have to expand the social security rights of the labourers”

The PPP chairman said that the Supreme Court Chief Justice Justice Saqib Nisar has appreciated the labour policies of the Sindh government.
