Former Minister Qaimkhani’s Son Dies in Road Accident
Former Provincial Minister and Member Sindh Assembly Rubeena Qaimkhani’s son has died in a road accident near village hotel on Friday evening.

According to the details, former Sindh Minister Rubeena Qaimkhani’s elder son Hamza has died in road accident. Earlier, he was severely injured in the mishap. He was shifted to the local hospital in Clifton in critical condition, where he couldn’t sustain the injuries and died.

According to the initial information, the incident happened due to over speeding.

Former Minister’s real brother and maternal uncle of Hamza has confirmed that the boy has died in the road accident. Rubeena Qiamkahni has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh since June 2013.

Previously, she has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2013.
Political career

She was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on a seat reserved for women from Sindh in the Pakistani general election, 2002.

She was re-elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of PPP on a seat reserved for women from Sindh in the Pakistani general election, 2008. She served as federal parliamentary secretary for human rights during her second tenure as Member of the National Assembly.

She was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh as a candidate of PPP on a seat reserved in the Pakistani general election, 2013. In July 2013, she became a member of the Sindh cabinet and was made Provincial Minister.
