Ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday said she was always sure that head of Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Wajid Zia will record statement in the favor of her father.
In a chain of tweets, Maryam Nawaz asserted that she had asked the opponents to wait for a few days for Wajid Zia’s statement supporting Nawaz Sharif.
Responding to a report filed by JIT regarding Panama case, Maryam Nawaz said that it’s easy to make a Whatsapp-influenced report but very difficult to prove it in the court.
She also said that few days back, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) declared Nawaz Sharif as owner of London flats in supplementary reference.
Earlier today, during the hearing of Avenfield reference against Sharif family, Waid Zia revealed that no documents proving Nawaz as beneficial owner of London flats were found.
