The opposition leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah expressing regret over Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi refusal to meet with chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani on Tuesday said that PM conduct was condemnable.
Prime Minister Shahid Khan Abbasi has refused to meet with chairman Senate on Monday, however chairman Senate spokesperson denied new report.
In a statement Khursheed Shah said that PM Abbasi statement against chairman Senate was tantamount to contempt of Senate.“The slots even PM are not permanent but the institutes always exist,” he said adding that opposition parties including three ruling party PML-N members have also voted in favour of Sadiq Sanjarni.
He asked, “Will PM Abbasi not come in Senate session on chairman Senate rolling?” he continued, “If he does not come will his act not come under contempt of court.”
