An Accountability Court of Islamabad on Thursday sent PML-N leader and former finance adviser Miftah Ismail into custody of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for 10 days in LNG tenders case.
A NAB team produced Miftah and Imranul Haq before Accountability Court amid tight security where the anti-graft body presented record of both accused.
It is to be noted that NAB on Wednesday had arrested Ismail and former MD of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) Sheikh Imran-ul-Haq in LNG corruption reference.
The arrests took place after Islamabad High Court rejected politician’s plea seeking extension in pre-arrest bail.
