First Hajj flight on Thursday took-off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport along with 214 passengers on board.
Provincial Minister for Religious Affairs sees off the intending pilgrims at the airport.
According to Spokesperson for Religious Affairs Ministry, the first Hajj flight from Lahore departed from Lahore while Hajj flight operation from Karachi and Peshawar will begin on Friday.
It is pertinent to mention here that for the first time Pakistan International Airlines is starting direct Hajj flights form Quetta this year.
On the other hand, the process to bring back pilgrims will commence on August 7.
