Zalmi beat sultans by 5 wickets
Peshawar Zalmi has defeated Multan Sultans by five wickets in second round of Pakistan Super League fourth edition while Imam Ul Haq scored splendid half-century.

Peshawar chased the target of 146-run set by Multan after losing five wickets.

Imam Ul Haq shined as he scored 52 runs and he was bowled by Junaid Khan. Kamran could score only 4 runs and bowled by Muhmmad Irfan.

Millan and Liam Dason scored 38 and 18 runs respectively. Kieron Pollard hit 4 sixes in four successive balls of Muhammad Irfan. Muhmmad Junain took his wicket while skipper Darren Sammy (C) could score 5 runs only.

Daniel Christian, Junain Khan took two wickets each while Muhammad Irfan got one wicket.

Earlier, Multan had set a total of 146-run target to Peshawar Zalmi in second round of Pakistan Super League fourth edition.

Whole of Multan bowled out at 145. While Johnson Charles scored 53 runs innings in today’s first fixture in Sharjah.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali’s exceptional four-for 17 bowling spell restricted Multan Sultans on 145 runs.

Hassan Ali is the leading wicket-taker of this season so far with his timely dismissals of James Vince, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Hammad Azam brought to an end to the Sultans’ batting powerhouse.

Sameen Gul, Wahab Riaz, Umaid Asif and Liam Dawson picked one wicket each.

Skipper Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi played 22, 14 run-innings respectively.
