Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to remain closely engaged to chart out a roadmap for enhancing bilateral trade, business and investment relations.
The consensus developed during a meeting between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Saudi counterpart Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session in New York.
The two Foreign Ministers expressed satisfaction on expanding relations between the two countries.
They also agreed to maintain the momentum generated by the recent visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Saudi Arabia to achieve tangible results on mutually agreed areas of cooperation.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Saudi counterpart also agreed to convene next round of Bilateral Political Consultation between the two foreign ministries at an early date to take their discussions forward.
