World crude oil prices at the highest level
The threat of economic sanctions on Russia has pushed up crude oil prices and reduced Russia's crude oil exports.

British Brent crude rose 73 1.73 a barrel to 89 89.93 a barrel. US crude rose 69 1.69 a barrel to 87 87.29 a barrel.

Meanwhile, the US stock market saw a bearish trend, two major indices fell,he Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 129 points to close at 34,168.09 points.The S&P 500 Index lost 6.52 points, closing at 4,349.93 points.

The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 2.83 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 13,542.12 points.
