According to the statement by Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, it was the first special flight to repatriate Pakistanis from china and these Pakistani students were studying in different universities of Hubei province, including Wuhan.

Earlier this year, China locked down the entire province of Hubei, including Wuhan, the epicentre of the Corona epidemic, during which more than 500 Pakistani students were stranded there.

Students and their Parents had urged the government to take steps to repatriate them. However, after assurance of taking care of the students by Chinese government, and to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Pakistan, the government had decided to not repatriate the students immediately from China.
