The Foreign Minister said India has imposed curfew in the occupied valley since 5th of August and consequently, lives of thousands of people are under threat.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the situation is so dire that there is a shortage of food and medicines. He said people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are looking towards the international community especially the Muslim world.
He said that India kept on ruining the peace of region through its unilateral action while children and youth are being subjected to torture and violence at the darkness of the night while the situation is hinting to a new human tragedy while Kashmiris Muslim looking for help to be freed from suppression of India.
Iran Foreign Minister expressing deep concern on the situation said that such steps will add tensions in the region.Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday telephoned his Iranian counterpart Jawad Zarif wherein they discussed continued grave human rights violations in Indian Held Kashmir.
