The Punjab government Wednesday decided to increase the minimum wages of workers from Rs16,500 to 17,000 per month.
Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar announced the decision while addressing a ceremony regarding a health card distribution ceremony in Nankana Sahab.
Punjab CM said after 70 years the condition of labours and common man are same. He also announced to construct labour colonies in Punjab for the convenience of people.
“Labour colonies and social security hospitals will be constructed for people’s convenience,” he announced.
