Provincial Government of Gilgit Baltistan is providing free text books to the students from class one to matriculation in Government schools across Gilgit Baltistan.
A spokesman of Directorate of Education Gilgit Baltistan said over fifty million rupees are being utilized for printing of text books annually.
He said that over one point two million text books have been printed in current year. The distribution of free books have increased students enrolments in Government schools.
