Farooq Sattar decides to move court against removal as MQM-P convener

Farooq Sattar on Monday decided to move the court once again against his removal as convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Pakistan faction.

Sattar will file a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) today, according to sources.

According to sources, he will also file a separate petition against being stripped of his basic membership of the party.

The Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui-led group had removed Sattar as party convener last year following rifts within the party.
